Yesterday marked the return of the FIM International Six Days of Enduro [ISDE] with what is the 95th edition of the demanding six day off road competition, running from August 30th until the 4th of September. The race is held in the scenic Lombardy-Piedmont region of Northern Italy,  which offers demanding terrain for the mix of professional and amateur riders.

Dunlop has become an official sponsor for the event this year, and they’ve introduced a new element to the race – the Dunlop Geomax Challenge. This has been specifically created to support club and amateur riders, which allows them to feel the benefits from the performance of Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres. Tyre versatility is essential when tackling such a wide range of terrain, and the Geomax EN91 offers the highest levels of performance and durability. This event has over 30 riders competing for exclusive prizes.

The American team chose Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres in the last edition of the event and won, going a long way to proving their versatility and performance in various conditions. The tyre has been developed with a new compound focused on providing the highest grip in off-road conditions. With the clever pattern with hexagonal blocks, it also provides more agile handling which in turn can reduce rider fatigue. This is particularly important during the long ISDE stages. The American team will be looking to defend their title, after taking victory by more than two minutes in 2019.

Luca Davide Andreoni, Marketing Manager, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe said:

“We’re very excited to introduce the new Dunlop Geomax Challenge, following Dunlop’s official sponsorship of the ISDE event. It will allow us to let riders of different levels experience the performance of Dunlop Geomax EN91 tyres and ensure a high level of competition. We are proud to be able to recognise the commitment of the club and amateur riders with the Challenge awards.”
