Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A40, the successor to the popular Battlewing, has been selected by two leading manufacturers as an OE fitment on their latest 2017 bike models.
Suzuki’s V-Strom 650 has proved hugely popular in the UK as a great value adventure tourer, and the 2017 model will come out of the factory fitted with A40 tyres.
Also turning to Bridgestone for their original equipment tyres are Honda, who will fit the Adventure A40 to their VFR800X Crossrunner middleweight bike next year.
Released in 2015, and expanded in 2016, the Battlax Adventure A40 range offers class leading on-road performance, with superb handling characteristics on both dry and wet roads.
The original Battlewing was known for it’s rock solid stability, and the Adventure A40 maintains that while setting new benchmarks in terms of it’s performance in other areas.
Last year the Bridgestone topped a wet weather test undertaken by the industry leading Motorrad Centre in Germany, who ran it back to back against tyres from leading competitors.
