In a deal that only further strengthens ties between the two companies, Pirelli have announced that their latest Diablo Rosso III hypersport tyres have been selected by Ducati for fitment to their new Monster 1200 and 1200 S models.
The powerful Italian naked machine will come with a 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear, fitted with a ‘D’ spec Rosso III from Pirelli which has been modified to suit the bike.
Pirelli’s most advanced hypersport tyre is born from their experience in the World Superbike arena, bringing the highest levels of performance to the road.
Ideal for fast road riding, the tyre is also more than capable of the occasional track day, and offers excellent grip even on wet roads thanks to the latest compounds and optimised tread design.
The race-derived profiles off sporty handling, and a dual-compound rear includes a harder wearing centre and softer shoulder areas for increased grip in the corners.
