Ahead of their appearance at the annual EICMA Show in Milan, Italian manufacturer Pirelli have announced the introduction of two brand new scooter tyres for 2017.
Both taking inspiration from their range of big bike tyres, the Angel Scooter is derived from the Angel GT sport touring tyre, whereas the Diablo Rosso Scooter bears a striking resemblance to the sporty Diablo Rosso III.
The new Angel Scooter is going to be aimed at all-year round urban riders who need long tyre life, predictability in all conditions and high levels of comfort – and like it’s big brother it promises to be more than competent in the wet. There will be 52 sizes in total, introduced throughout next year.
On the other hand, the Diablo Rosso Scooter is a high-performance radial for high-performance scooters of all sizes. It promises to combine excellent handling with high levels of grip, ideal for those with a dynamic riding style in both the city and on twisty country roads. It will be available in ten sizes, six for the front and four for the rear.
The new Italian rubber will make it’s public debut on stand C61 in Pavillion 10 from 8th to 13th of November 2016 in Milan.
