Avon Tyres have further strengthened their relationship with British bike manufacturer Triumph recently, after the firm’s well-established Cobra tyre was chosen as the OE fitment for the new Bonneville Bobber.
On the front Triumph have selected the 100/90-19 57V Cobra, which has been further developed to improve performance on the new machine.
On the rear, Avon have developed a brand new Cobra with a modified dual-construction to offer the ultimate in both performance and stability on the Bobber. The Cobra 150/80 R16 71V rear is a new size and has been added to Avon’s extensive range, available immediately.
The Bonneville Bobber is the second Triumph bike that Avon have developed an OE tyre for, following on from the Thunderbird LT which uses a radial whitewall version of the Cobra made specifically for that machine.

Ashley Vowles, Avon’s motorcycle tyre design engineer said:
“Avon has developed a fantastic relationship with Triumph, and we are delighted to announce this latest OE deal with such a like-minded British manufacturer.”
Available in a wide range of sizes for cruisers, customs and trikes, you can find out more about the Avon Cobra range here.
