Michelin backed enduro rider Jack Edmondson recently consolidated his position at the top of the British Enduro Championship E1-2t Class, thanks to a dominant double victory in rounds five and six at the Knighton Two Day in Powys.
On Saturday riders were put through two special tests, and Jack dominated his class, whilst also finishing 8th overall against experienced riders on much more powerful machines.
Jack pushed his Michelin Enduro Comp shod 125cc KTM to its limits at the event, his only issue coming when he entered a ravine a little too enthusiastically, but he remounted and learned from his mistake, posting the fastest times in class for the day.
Riding with confidence after a successful opening day, Jack pushed on into day two to take another class win and record another 8th placed finish overall.
Rounds 7 and 8 of the championship take place this weekend at Tarenig Forest on the slopes of the Cambrian Mountains, and Jack’s small KTM 125 will really come into it’s own at an event where maneuverability is key.
Jack’s riding has gone from strength to strength this season, as he competes in his first full British Enduro Championship.
Just on the horizon is the annual visit to Hawkstone Park, Shropshire on the weekend of 26th anf 27th of September, for ‘The Original’ Fast Eddy event organised by Paul Edmondson. This event attracted hundreds of riders last year and is expected to grow considerably for the 2015 outing.
Jack Edmondson will also contest the final round of the Rock Oil XC Championship in a couple of weeks time at Ashby Moto Park in Leicestershire where he already leads the championship by an unassailable margin.
