The new Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT is the little brother to the V-Strom 1000, and after rumours of it’s arrival leaked onto the internet in the middle of last year, it was finally unveiled at INTERMOT 2014.
It very recently took centre stage in a worldwide launch, which saw riders heading out whilst it was raining sideways, coping with gale force winds.
The punchy little V-Strom impressed the team at MCN, as did the stock Bridgestone Trail Wing rubber which comes fitted as standard on this superb adventure tourer, which has a 19″ front and 17″ rear.
In their 4th March issue, the MCN team said:
“The XT comes fitted with Bridgestone Trail Wings as standard, a dual-purpose tyre that can cope with light off-road work. They coped fine with a brief ride on soft sand while on wet roads they were more than adequate – the balanced and neutral handling of the bike providing no surprises.”
A great little tyre from Bridgestone which is often overlooked, but finally it’s getting the attention it deserves once again with the launch of this great little bike.
