Continental has become the first tyre manufacturer in the world to manufacture a radial motorcycle tyre pair aimed squarely at riders of the Triumph Thruxton after they announced the new 130/80 R17 M/C 65V TL ContiRoadAttack 2.
With it’s retro look, and sporty credentials the Thruxton is a machine which demands the latest in tyre performance. Riders of powerful cafe racers have long been familiar with the problems of relying on bias ply sizes, which often result in them not being able to make the most of their machine.
Continental are looking to tackle that issue head on, and give riders the option of a matching radial front and rear from their ever popular ContiRoadAttack 2 range, which features unique technologies such as Traction Skin and their patented Zero Degree Belt.
The new size is earmarked for production very shortly, and we will let you know as soon as it arrives in the UK.
