This Saturday Welsh rider Tracey Wheeler will be setting off on her 5000 mile solo charity ride from Wales to Romania and back again to raise money for the Wales Air Ambulance and Royal British Legion Riders Branch.
In association with her local branch of Thunder Road Motorcycles and Bridgestone UK, Tracey will complete the Road to Romania ride on a a very capable Suzuki V-Strom shod with a pair of Bridgestone Battle Wing tyres.
Tracey aims to raise £1000 for good causes, and her trip is entirely self funded with very kind donations coming in from all directions. She will in some cases be covering more than 500 miles a day as she aims to reach Constanta, which sits on the edge of the Black Sea in Romania.
On her trip Tracey will be visiting a number of amazing places and travelling across some superb European roads including:
- Gloss-Glockner Mountain Pass
- Transfargarasan Highway
- Transalpine Highway
- Nurburgring
- Assen
In total she will ride through 17 countries, passing through some of them twice on her amazing solo route.
