Molyneux & Farrance Take Sidecar Win

Dave Molyneux TT Sidecar 2014Yesterday saw the second sidecar race around the famous TT Mountain Circuit, and this time it was the turn of Dave Molyneux and Patrick Farrance to take the top spot on the podium on Avon tyres in their Kawasaki powered outfit.

First round winners Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott had to set for 2nd place this time around after taking their first ever TT victory on Saturday, whilst the pairing of John Holden and Andy Winkle were pushed down into 3rd place.

Dave Molyneux also secured the best lap of the race with a 113.756mph time, whilst averaging 113.147 for the overall race to see them take a convincing win by almost 45 seconds.

Elsewhere Avon supported rider Ryan Kneen had a strong performance in the second Supersport race on 3D Ultra Xtreme tyres. Ryan took 24th place overall, averaging 118.07mph and reported that the British manufactured Avon tyres performed faultlessly over the laps and still had plenty of life left in them.

Avon also supported rider Timothee Monot in the TT Zero on the ManTTx electric bike, and he took a good 6th place overall in this developing class where competition is growing every year.
