Bridgestone Team Up With Saroléa In 2014

Sarolea SP7 electric superbikeProving that going green doesn’t have to mean going slow, Bridgestone have announced a new partnership with Belgian motorcycle brand Saroléa who will be putting their SP7 electric superbike through an ambitious racing schedule. The bike was very recently unveiled during a session at the Mettet circuit in Belgium during the Speed Trophy on 26th Ap[ril, and under this new deal Bridgestone will be providing the manufacturer with technical support and tyre expertise stemming from their two wheel racing experience.

The aghile Belgian machine can go from 0 to 100kph in just 2.8 seconds, and can reach a maximum speed of 250kph at full throttle. In order to help Saroléa harness this power Bridgestone will be fitting their latest MotoGP derived Battlax V02 Racing Slick which features their latest “GP Belt” technology.

Saroléa will be competing at the TT Zero Challenge on the Isle of Man, as well as in the FIM eRoadRacing world cup series this year.
