Following the recent announcement by Pirelli that their Diablo Rosso II sport tyre had been chosen as the original equipment fitment for the new MV Augusta Rivale 800 and Brutale 800 Dragster, the Italian manufacturer has now announced that the tyre has also been chosen by Ducati to be used on the new Ducati Diavel.
The new Ducati will use a 120/70 ZR17 front and 240/45 ZR17 rear which was specially developed by the manufacturer in 2011 at Ducati’s request.
The tyre features Enhanced Patch Technology, Ideal Contour Shaping and Functional Groove Design to optimise grip, stability and wear rates respectively.
