Bridgestone RS11 Selected For Latest ZX-10R

In their second big original equipment announcement in as many days, tyre maker Bridgestone have confirmed that their acclaimed Battlax RS11 will come as standard on the latest Kawasaki ZX-10R superbike.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle series is the base model for the Kawasaki Racing Team, winner of the World Superbike Championship for the sixth year in a row.

The updated 2021 Ninja ZX-10R features integrated winglets as well as high-grade suspension and brake components for improved cornering and light handling performance. To harness the abilities of the bike and to transfer all that power to the road, Kawasaki have selected the latest Battlax RS11 Racing Street tyre.

Battlax RS11

The most aggressive road tyre in the current Bridgestone line-up, the Battlax RS11 has been inspired by their race-bred R11, and offers razor sharp handling and huge outright levels of grip.

Bridgestone’s Variable Mono-Spiral Belt construction allows enginers to optimise contact patch size at all angles of lean, so you can carry more corner speed and get maximum drive traction.

Both front and rear tyre feature a 3LC (3 layer compound) construction with a more durable centre compound and a softer shoulder compound to give you performance where you need it most.

They are already available on general sale in the UK from your nearest dealer, and the next crop of ZX-10R owners will be able to test them out for themselves in 2021!
