Among the four brand new options that the tyre maker have introduced for the GS and other adventure motorcycles this year is the SportSmart TT Trail – an extension of their current SportSmart TT range.
Officially a racing street tyre, it is the most aggressive road tyre in the Dunlop range, and ideal for riders who split their time between the road and the track.
Employing Dunlop’s tried and tested NTEC system, it allows riders to significantly lower their tyre pressures on track for additional traction and faster lap times.
We’ll admit that for the GS, it is probably a stretch to call this even a niche product, but if you want to take your adventure bike on track, this is the ultimate tyre to do it on!
They are now available in sizes 120/70 ZR19 (60W) TL and 170/60 ZR17 (72W) TL – so they can also be used on the later GS models as well as the KTM adventure series for example.
