Team France made is a 5th consecutive Motocross of Nations victory at the weekend, with Dunlop Tyres supporting two of the three victorious riders.
The event has been dubbed the ‘Olympics’ of motocross, and this year fans were treated to 35 teams from across the globe, all in the hunt for glory at the Red Bud track in Michigan, USA.
Extremely muddy conditions didn’t make things easy for the riders, as it caused several engine issues and covered numerous pairs of goggles.
Thirteen riders across seven of the top ten teams opted for Dunlop’s Geomax MX-12 on the front, alongside the new MX-33 on the rear. Those riders included Dylan Ferrandis (Yamaha) and Jordi Tixier (KTM), both of whom would take to the top step of the podium for Team France.
Other Dunlop riders included Kirk Gibbs, who helped Australia to 4th place, and also Ben Watson and Tommy Searle for Great Britain. The all-Dunlop shod USA squad would also go on to finish in 6th.
