Brian’s Russian Adventure

Bridgestone A41 adventure

When Brian Carter picked up his brand new Honda Africa Twin, he probably never thought that the original tyres would take him all the way to Siberia and back… but that’s exactly what they did!

Brian has recently returned from an overland trip to the city of Vladivostok on the south-eastern coast of Russia, which he completed on a single set of Battlax Adventure A41 tyres from Bridgestone.

The Battlax Adventure A41 was launched earlier this year by the Japanese tyre maker, and is now used by Honda as an original equipment fitment on their extremely popular adventure machine.

The Bridgestone tyres fitted to Brian’s bike covered circa 15,000 miles on the trip, enough to get him all the way from the east of England to the other side of Siberia and all the way back home again, with a brief stop off at the Ural Motorcycle Museum thrown in for good measure!

Brian has been so impressed with the performance of the tyres that he’s already ordered another set from Cambrian trade customer Ekquire Motorcycles, who shared the story of his amazing trip with us.

We’ve also been lucky enough to test Bridgestone’s latest adventure touring tyre both in sunny Morocco and rainy Wales, and we’ve been astounded by how good they are in a wide range of conditions.

So whether you’re planning a trip to Swansea or Siberia, they come highly recommended…

Many thanks to Brian for supplying some photos from his trip.
