Clearly not content with their domination on the world stage, Michelin riders also set about destroying the field at the recent sixth round of the British Trials Championships.
At the recent Hafren Trial, riders had to overcome plenty of difficult obstacles on the course at Glynhafren Farm, near the town of Llanidloes in Powys.
Beta rider James Dabill, who is without doubt the top British trials rider on the world scene right now, came out on top by some margin at the event, followed by Jack Price (Gas Gas) and Iwan Roberts (TRS) in second and third place respectively.

All three riders ran Michelin’s acclaimed Trials X-Light Comp tyres, which are renowned for their outright grip and maneuverability, also used by current World Champions Toni Bou and Emma Bristow.
After his win, an elated Dabill commented:
“Once again I am very happy to take another full house of points and keep my unbeaten record in the 2018 championship. Riding new virgin hazards is always difficult but after the challenging first lap I knew I could improve. With the changing conditions offering a wide variety of terrain varying from mud, rivers and rocks the choice of the Michelin X-Light tyre once again inspired the confidence in my riding which was reflected in the winning margin as I further increased my points advantage in the championship.”
