Stepping up their efforts to engage with riders online, earlier this year Bridgestone launched their new website Gripping Stories.
Already filled with a broad range of audio, video and written content, the manufacturer is sharing exciting and often emotive stories about it’s tyres and the places and experiences they share with a range of motorcyclists from world class endurance racers to long distance tourers.
Presented in a unique, close up style the real-life nature of the site is already proving a hit on the web with articles being shared far and wide.
One of the key long-running stories in 2017 charts a year in the life of Yahama Austria, who are competing in the FIM Endurance World Championship with support from the Japanese tyre maker.
Three behind the scenes video episodes have already been published online, with honest and frank views from the riders and members of the team as they share in the ups and downs of a life lived on track.
“Bridgestone’s motorcycle division wants every rider to feel safe and have fun wherever they go – and we want to hear all about the adventure, and share it with other bikers. That’s the idea behind ‘gripping stories’. We want to meet riders there, as well as on the road” explains Nico Thuy, Head of Europe – Motorcycle at Bridgestone Europe.
