33 Teams Choose Dunlop For Suzuka 8Tai

Dunlop tyres Suzuka 8 Hour

With the famous 8Tai race at Suzuka due to take place on Sunday, Dunlop are hoping to break Bridgestone’s record winning streak, and with 33 teams from a field of 68 opting to use the brand, they’re certainly in with a good chance!

The second round in Portugal saw Dunlop get a complete podium lockout in both classes, but the race at Suzuka draws many local teams running bikes specifically designed for the Japanese circuit.

Points will be valuable with very few separating the top teams in the FIM Endurance World Championship, so a podium finish would make a huge difference to them.

Dunlop regulars include partner teams SERT, GMT94 Yamaha Racing and Honda Endurance Racing. A total of 28 teams will solely enter the Suzuka round, including Team Kagayama who have finished in 3rd place every year for the last three years.

Yukio Kagayama will be joined by Naomichi Uramoto and BSB star Ryuichi Kioynari on their Suzuki GSX-R1000.
