18-Inch TKC 70 Rocks Now Available

Continental TKC 70 Rocks UK

When Continental introduced the TKC 70 adventure tyre in 2014, it created a new niche in the market between their road-oriented TrailAttack range and the world conquering TKC 80 Twinduro, and it’s a niche where other brands have since followed.

Since then, Continental’s engineers have identified a new niche within that niche.

They saw a demand for a rear tyre which offered greater off-road performance than the standard TKC 70, but without being as aggressive as the block pattern TKC 80, allowing riders to further explore the abilities of their adventure bike without compromising on-road performance.

Step in the new TKC 70 Rocks…

Continental TKC 70 Rocks

The TKC 70 Rocks still features core Continental technologies like MultiGrip and RainGrip, but offers increased traction on loose surfaces thanks to the revised tread pattern.

By removing the solid central backbone of the standard TKC 70, Continental engineers have created more biting edges to deliver that all important additional grip on more challenging terrain so you can go further off the beaten track.

However, the wide base tread blocks remain stable on the road so as not to compromise handling and mileage.

Here at Cambrian we’ve just received our first delivery of the popular 150/70 R18 size which fits the latest Africa Twin, selected KTM adventure models and the new T700. Riders have been asking our trade customers for this size all season long, and they’re finally here!

We also have the 150/70 R17 and 170/60 R17, plus the 130/80 R17 and 140/80 R17.

All options can be combined with the standard TKC 70 front tyre.
