MV Agusta have revealed the final version of their first adventure bike, the 2024 LXP Orioli, and it will leave the factory (signed by Orioli himself) with Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tyres as standard.
“The World’s First Luxury All-Terrain Motorcycle” was revealed earlier this week at EICMA 2023, this final version of their first adventure model comes two years after MV Agusta first announced their concept for an adventure range, which at the time they were calling the ‘Lucky Explorer.’
The luxury adventure bike is named after Italian motorcycling legend and four-time Dakar winner, Edi Orioli and is inspired by the Cagiva Elefant he rode to victory in 1990. Limited to only 500 units and expected to cost in the region of €30,000 (£26,000), each bike will leave the factory signed by Edi Orioli himself, along with a certificate of authenticity.
But it’s not all bells and whistles, the new model features an impressive three-cylinder 931cc engine, peak power of 122bhp at 10,000rpm and maximum torque of 75lb·ft at 7000rpm. With a top speed of 143mph (230km/h) and acceleration rate of 0 to 60 in 3.72 seconds, the LXP Orioli has four riding modes – Urban, Touring, Off-Road and Custom All-Terrain.
