Moving in to the 2025 season
Last year was an extremely busy one at Cambrian Tyres, with not one, or two, but three new brands joining our portfolio and we’re sure that 2025 is going to be busy too!
The majority of brands have new additions to their ranges for the coming year, and below is a brief overview.
Anlas
We’re bringing back the MB-80 this year. An excellent all-weather scooter tyre that’s available in the hard to source sizes for the new Yamaha RayZR 125. Thanks to the channels in the tread area, it provides fast water discharge and with its specially designed tread compound, it provides excellent grip in both the wet and the dry.
We have also expanded our Capra XR size range to include a wider range of front and rear sizes as well as the OE fitment sizes for the Bimota Tera which is a great looking new ADV bike entering the market in 2025.
Bridgestone
Bridgestone have had a busy year with the addition of their new Battlax T33, the successor to the T32, which was already a great tyre. Bridgestone claims up to a 47% increase in tread life of the T33 which is a huge upgrade over its predecessor. They also claim a different compound boasting an improvement to wet weather riding for those all-weather riders.
Bridgestone also has some new sizes coming to their range in 2025.
CEAT
As one of our exclusive brands at Cambrian Tyres, CEAT has been fast growing and is quickly becoming a very broad range. CEAT are Original Equipment suppliers for the majority of the popular Royal Enfield range of machines.
We’re expecting the range to increase even further as time goes on.
Continental
It’s been a quiet year for new products at Continental but that doesn’t mean we don’t have exciting news to share. Due to changes in shipping circumstances and the current global market, we have managed to realign some pricing for Continental Tyres unlocking some superb options for riders on a budget.
These changes include realignments for the ContiMotion’s, ContiRoad’s and Conti SportAttack lines.
Dunlop
Dunlop have expanded their Sport Range to include the all new SportSmart MK4, which sits above the SportSmart MK3 as Dunlop’s premier road going HyperSport tyre. Coming in a range of common sizes, dual compound rears and with Dunlop’s DFF (Dynamic Front Formula), you’ll have great handling, great grip and a great tread life.
Kenda
As one of our exclusive brands, and our fastest growing one at that, Kenda has become a house name within Cambrian. With their excellent range of off-road tyres, wide array of road options as well as a great scooter range, Kenda has become a vital part of the Cambrian Tyres eco system.
One of the big changes to the lineup from Kenda in 2025 is the expansion of the TrakMaster DTR range with whole host of new sizes to cover everything from 125cc ADV’s all the way up to some of the biggest ADV’s on the market. It’s a range that’s sure to have something for everyone.
KingTyre
The KingTyre brand has been a very welcome addition and has hit the ground running. KingTyre was established just 11 years ago in 2014 and having undergone a recent and significant expansion of their manufacturing facility, is already lining up to be a very successful brand within Cambrian. As a tyre manufacturer with racers at the Le Mans’ 24hr endurance race, with excellent feedback, KingTyre has state of the art manufacturing processes in place as well as already having obtained all the latest safety standards needed for the EU market.
Our KingTyre range is set to grow again in 2025 with KingTyre’s Racing Range being added to our UK stock holding. KingTyre have Slicks, Rain tyres as well as a SuperSport treaded race tyre which are arriving this spring. We’ll also be receiving some new sizes of the K99 Custom tyres from KingTyre, for when size really matters.
Michelin
Michelin is a mainstay in the UK 2-wheel market and has been for a very long time with their wide range of superb tyres for all situations.
New to the range for Michelin in 2025 are the Road W GT, new Enduro range as well as the Power Shift.
The Road W GT is Michelin’s first offering for the Honda Goldwing, with a 3-ply radial construction you’ll get trustworthy vehicle handling and easy cornering. Sipes in the front tyre tread and silica in both the front and rear tyres means you’ll have assured grip in both the wet and the dry.
Michelin slightly adjusted their Enduro Range in late 2024 with the successor to the Enduro Medium being released, the Enduro Medium 2. Better grip and traction when new (+22%) and even when worn (+12%) thanks to an innovative tread pattern: V-shape blocks, more contact patch with the ground, and a new generation of carbon black.
The all-new Power Shift from Michelin is the OE fitment for the Honda X ADV in 2025 whilst also fitting the Forza 750, BMW C600/650 and Yamaha TMAX. With a long-lasting tread, Water EverGrip technology sipes and a compound derived from Michelin’s expertise with high powered motorcycle tyres, you’ll know you’re getting great value for money.
Mitas
In 2024, we added Mitas to our range at Cambrian. Dealers around the UK have been using Mitas for a number of years and they’ve become a well-known brand for riders.
They’ve got a fantastic range of tyres to suit almost any riders needs. Our first shipment included a mostly Enduro based range centred around their newly revamped off-road range as well as a large range of ADV and road bike sizes.
In 2025 we’re expanding our Mitas Range to include a wider range of ADV and Motocross tyres as well as road bike sizes including the Sport Force+ and the Touring Force, which are both great options for a lot of common sizes used in the current motorcycle market.
Pirelli
Pirelli’s range has largely stayed the same moving from 2024 to 2025 with the only addition to their range being the new Pirelli Diablo Powercruiser, which is their new custom-touring line of tyres for Sport Cruisers or Bagger machines. Thanks to its sporty behaviour with its grip, handling characteristics and plenty of grip even on wet surfaces, it’s sure to be a great option for those hard acceleration American styled bikes. They’ll be arriving from March 2025 with pre-orders already coming in.
