PIRELLI LAUNCH SPECIAL EDITION BRITISH SUPERBIKE TYRE FOR
THE ROAD
To celebrate their second year as sole tyre provider to the British Superbike (BSB) and
Supersport Championships, Pirelli has launched a new special edition BSB tyre for the
road.
The Diablo Supercorsa BSB tyre is the road legal equivalent to the current control tyre used
in the British Supersport Championship, which achieved five lap records in its debut in 2008.
Its development and design has been taken straight from the track with input taken from top
class racers. Now the road rider can benefit from Pirelli’s experience in the best domestic
race series in the World.
This new rubber has been produced with the latest Pirelli technology offering the rider an
unrivalled riding experience of a track derived high performance Supercorsa tyre, for the road.
The advanced tread pattern design gives maximum side grip performance providing the rider
with greater confidence and safety right through the corner.
The 0° steel belt construction gives consistent feed back, a high level of stability and
ultimately optimal performance for an exhilarating ride.
The BSB tyre is available from Pirelli dealers in the following sizes; front: 120/70ZR17 and
rear: 180/55ZR17 / 190/55ZR17.
