Michelin Announce new race series for 2010
The Power Cup Series from Michelin offers an exciting oportunity for riders and sponsors alike to take part in a six round series that follows on from the successful series held in France and Italy.
There will be six rounds throughout the season with three 12-15 lap sprint races for 600cc and 1000cc classes at each round.
The season will run from April to October with provisionl venues being Snetterton, Cadwell Park, Mallory Park, Anglesey and Pembrey.
Michelin aim for the Power Cup to stand out as offering the best value for money to racers, both in terms of track time and prizes. The series offers motorcycle racers a welcome Power Pack valued at £700 for each rider who signs for the series, plus unprecidented amounts of track time and prizes including cash and products valued at £20, 000.
In addition, the the top three riders from each class will get the opportunity to represent the UK at one of the other European series rounds.
