Michelin Off Road day... Part I
5 Nov 2008

Cambrian tyres is the biggest distributor of Michelin Tyres in Europe, so they naturally came to us when they wanted to show off their products at an off-school in south Chester.
Cambrian was more than happy to oblige and sent four of its biking legends along with some of our customers for the first weekend to see what the lads from Michelin could do. And what a weekend they had!
The course was very well designed; challenging for the experienced off roader yet still easy enough for the beginner to get to grips with the demands of the sport, combine this with a selection of Michelin shod machines there was enough there for all skill levels.
With time and good coaching some even felt confident enough to tackle the 450V Twin on offer, some even managed to stay on it. Keith "Cartwheel" Evans was not amongst these however, with an impressive Grass-sky-grass-sky-grass moment.
Michelin were the perfect hosts and the hospitality they showed over the weekend was exemplary. Everyone went away with great memories (and sore limbs!) and a much better understanding of Michelin off road products.
