After the extremely successful UK press launch of the eagerly awaited BT-023 sport touring tyre earlier in the week around Loch Ness, Bridgestone & Cambrian Tyres staff remained in Scotland to help support one of its National Bikers Club Dealers.

C&J Wilsons of Uphall one of the oldest Kawasaki dealers in the country had taken space in the highland hall to promote Bridgestone Tyres and the Bikers Club element of the business, over the two day event thousands of visitors attended the show and the stand proved to be a popular point of interest especially with the new BT-023 becoming the main focus of attention.

Andrew Whitehead, Bridgestone Motorcycle Manager for the UK had taken part in the launch which involved some of Europe’s most experienced motorcycle journalists and over 15 different types of motorcycle were used from sports bikes to sport tourers. On a 200 mile trip around Loch Ness in varying weather conditions the reports recieved back from all involved were more than positive. A real world; real road test that the visitors to the Scottish show could certainly relate to!

Pictured below is Andy Whitehead presenting winning raffle ticket owner Debbie Rodwel with a podium cap signed by Moto GP racing legend Nicky Hayden. Debbie had purchased a pair of BT-023s for her Honda earlier in the day and had been kind enough to buy a raffle ticket. The money raised from the sale of the raffle tickets was donated to Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
